If you are interested in becoming licensed to operate an amateur radio, you'll need to take a test with either Lorne Goodwin (VE7 ADZ) in Nelson or VE7 YN aka Rudi Martini, our other accredited examiner in Castlegar. It's best to study for it first. You can start by learning from the free online course offered by Emergency Radio.
Radio Amateurs of Canada have a wide variety of study aids available for free or not.
Our Annual Club Dinner will be in Vintage Room at the Best Western Hotel in Nelson on Friday, December 4th at 6pm. A $25 banquet, a $5-$7 gift exchange, prizes and fellowship will be offered. Contact Wanda Woikin for details.
